Hi, friends!! I hope your week is going fabulous! We finally got the right sofa yesterday, so I feel so much better! Now I'm on the hunt for a cocktail table and some decorations! Wish me luck! Anyone else been in a long distance relationship before? Mitch and I have always been long distance until we moved here 2 weeks ago! We were always driving and always busy it seemed. One weekend we would have to be in Indy for something, Columbus the next, back home for something else. It seemed like we never really had "nothing" going on. Now that we live together (and are in the same city), it's been so much easier! When I think about this weekend, we truly have no plans that we HAVE to do. We might go to the pool if it's nice out, get dinner somewhere new, etc. That has been the greatest thing so far about this move.
Y'all, this southern heat is really getting to me, and it's not even July yet. Ya, ya, I know, don't be such a baby, Amy. But, I'm totally not used to it. It feels so much hotter than what it really is. If it would be socially acceptable for me to wear my swimsuit out in public at all times, I would totally do that. I am not adapting well. Instead of choosing to be socially unacceptable, I've been opting for as many dresses and lightweight clothing as I can! I don't know how else you would survive this heat without wearing dresses all summer. I'm going to be stocking up on some more pretty soon - it's for health reasons, right ;) That's a good enough excuse for me! I found some super cute dresses at a great price point! I love the scallops on this pink one, and the cut out details on this one are just too cute! I have ordered from this retailer before (it's where I got a lot of my scarves last winter). The shipping does take a little bit longer, but everything that I've gotten so far has been what I've expected.
