Valentine's Day Inspiration

Valentine's Day is coming up, and I love seeing all of the pinks, reds, and hearts all over!  My boyfriend and I never really make a huge deal out of Valentine's Day, but that doesn't mean I can't love all of the cute items and decorations out there! 
I rounded up a few of my favorite things! I especially love these Moscow Mule mugs - which is a drink I just recently found out that I actually like! I have this beaded necklace, and it really adds a pop to any outfit!

Hey everyone! 

How has your week been?  Mine has been going much slower than I would like.  Some girlfriends and I are going to a winery tonight for some tastings, so I've been looking forward to that!  I won't be complaining about any chance I have to catch up with my girlfriends and drink wine! ;) 

Valentine's Day is coming up, and I have found myself choosing more looks with pink and red in them!  I love wearing pink and red any day, but it doesn't hurt to have an extra excuse to wear those colors!  I have to say that I am loving this look right now.  This scarf is probably one of my current favorites.  I paired it with a bright pink sweater to bring out some of the light pink color in it!  My go-to Ray Bans bring it all together!  
Also, this Ohio/Indiana weather is not ideal for taking blog pictures.  The constant mixture of the wind and low temperatures are not great.  We finished this set in record time so we could run back inside!  Is it summer yet?

Hello everyone!  How was your week?  I think I'm coming down with a cold, so I'm super thankful it's the weekend!  Lots of time to rest up and get rid of this!  Do you have any fun plans?
How do you like the new look of the blog?  After a lot of trial and error, I'm finally pretty happy with it!  Let me know your thoughts!

I have a new found love with ponchos.  They're basically a blanket that's acceptable to wear in public. And I'm all about that! :)  I'm actually not even sure if I should call them ponchos or capes.  It seems those two words are used interchangeably.  Either way, I especially love the colors in this one!  I linked a few more of my favorite ponchos down below!

Hello everyone!

Happy hump day! :)  How has your week been?  Mine seems like it is flying by!  But I'm not complaining. ;) We've had some frigid temps here in Ohio this week, so I've been layering up as much as possible!  I've been dreaming of warm weather, sun, and beaches.  I'm feeling like I should have tried a little harder to plan a vacation over spring break.  
Until then, this faux fur vest is perfect for this cold weather!  I loved pairing it with my FAVORITE over the knee boots.  I highly recommend these!  They are pretty comfy, but I did size down a half size.

Hello everyone!

I am currently relaxing on my couch with my boyfriend drinking massive amounts of coffee.  I love getting a day off from school when we can spend it together!  Yay for an extra long weekend!  And a GREAT weekend at that!  We did a lot of driving Saturday, but it was definitely worth it!  We were able to see my boyfriend's family to celebrate Christmas a few weeks late. :)  And we celebrated one of my best friend's birthday!  Such a great time with so many of my favorite people! 

We currently have a wind chill warning here in Ohio :-/ so you can imagine how freezing it is.  This is the perfect casual outfit to throw on for a few errands (plus a thick winter jacket obvi).  I love this red sweater that I got last year, but really any color sweater would work great with this outfit!  My go to jean jacket is here, and I wear it all the time!  I am also a HUGE Converse fan.  I have been wearing these white all star chucks so much lately!  

HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to one of my best friends!  Love you girl! :)

Happy Friday!!

We made it!  How was your week?  Mine actually seemed pretty short, probably because of a school cancellation and a delay.  Those weeks normally seem extra long for some reason, but I'm not complaining this week!  I am so looking forward to this weekend for a lot of different reasons!  I finalllllyy get to see my bf who I have been missing like crazy!! We get to go and see all of his wonderful family for a late Christmas celebration.  One of my best friends turns 30 on Saturday!! And we have Monday off for MLK, Jr. Day!  What a great weekend it's about to be! What are your plans? 

I had this buffalo check shirt on my wish list for Christmas, and my wonderful momma got it for me!  I waited oh so patiently for it, and I just love it! Unfortunately, since I had my eye on it so early on, it's now sold out.  I linked some really similar options here and here!  I decided to mix some pattens and pair it with stripes!  And, as always, my red Hunter boots never disappoint!
