Happy Friday, friends!

So, I have a confession.  I really don't get as excited about Fridays during the summer as I do during the school year.  This is going to sound really bad - please don't throw rocks at me.  During the school year, everyone is so excited for Fridays because we get a few days off for the weekend like everyone else!  However, during the summers since I'm already off from school, it just feels like another day.  I know, I said it was going to sound really bad.  BUT, I am happy for YOU because you get a few days off! :)  Do you have any fun plans?  We really have no idea what we are doing, but I'm sure it will include some relaxing and probably some pool time! 

The colors in today's post are probably one of my favorite color combos to wear, especially in the summer! You can never go wrong with pink, especially a bright pink color like this!  Turquoise is one of my favorite colors to use when I want to add a pop of color!  I probably have more turquoise statement accessories than anything else!  I just love it!  This necklace was a recent purchase of mine, and I was more than happy to add it to my collection!  I know I'll be wearing it a ton!

Happy Friday from Raleigh!

How is your week going?  We are having a great time in Raleigh!  And may have some potential news to share in the next few weeks!  It's such a great city, and we are getting to see so many great things!  The weather is amazing for this time of year and definitely something we are not used to since we are both from the midwest.  I love that the city doesn't feel like it a big city, but it has all of the perks you would want.  We've been hanging out around the South Glenwood area mostly, and it reminds me a lot of the Short North back in Columbus!  Which is my favorite part of the city!
Tomorrow I think we are going to make the trip to Chapel Hill to watch the UNC game with all of the crazies!  Should be a fun day!  I'm not really a UNC fan, but I love watching basketball!  Then, we are headed back to Ohio on Sunday!  

I have been searching for the perfect spring coat for a while now.  I have plenty of winter coats, since winter can get pretty cold in Ohio.  But, I haven't been able to find a good transitional coat. 
Fortunately, I have finally found the perfect coat!  
I love the bright pink color, because it just makes it feel even more like spring!  I decided to go with a size small, because I didn't think I would be wearing a lot of layers underneath since it would be spring time.  It is definitely a great find, and I know I'll be wearing it a lot this spring!

Valentine's Day Inspiration

Valentine's Day is coming up, and I love seeing all of the pinks, reds, and hearts all over!  My boyfriend and I never really make a huge deal out of Valentine's Day, but that doesn't mean I can't love all of the cute items and decorations out there! 
I rounded up a few of my favorite things! I especially love these Moscow Mule mugs - which is a drink I just recently found out that I actually like! I have this beaded necklace, and it really adds a pop to any outfit!

Hey everyone! 

How has your week been?  Mine has been going much slower than I would like.  Some girlfriends and I are going to a winery tonight for some tastings, so I've been looking forward to that!  I won't be complaining about any chance I have to catch up with my girlfriends and drink wine! ;) 

Valentine's Day is coming up, and I have found myself choosing more looks with pink and red in them!  I love wearing pink and red any day, but it doesn't hurt to have an extra excuse to wear those colors!  I have to say that I am loving this look right now.  This scarf is probably one of my current favorites.  I paired it with a bright pink sweater to bring out some of the light pink color in it!  My go-to Ray Bans bring it all together!  
Also, this Ohio/Indiana weather is not ideal for taking blog pictures.  The constant mixture of the wind and low temperatures are not great.  We finished this set in record time so we could run back inside!  Is it summer yet?
