4th of July Inspiration

Hey, y'all!  I hope your week is going fabulous!  Mine has been pretty busy, but sometimes that's a good thing!  I'm getting excited for the 4th of July this weekend!  Do you have any fun plans?  We are looking forward to seeing what Raleigh has to offer!  We are planning on heading somewhere to watch the fireworks!  If you're from the area and have any recommendations, make sure to let me know below in the comments!

I always try to make sure to remember the real meaning of this day and not get wrapped up in all the fun festivities.  It's important to keep it all in perspective.  With that being said, I like to celebrate the holiday and wear some fun clothes!  There are so many different ways you can dress for this holiday!  Even if you just simply choose to wear red, white, or blue, you'll still look festive!  I made sure to put some of my favorite solid color tops in the collage above!  I especially love this off the shoulder chambray top!  It's a little pricey, but I can guarantee you'll get good wear out of it even after this weekend!  Then, you can add another pop of color with your accessories!  Statement earrings are all the rave right now.  I have these blue fringe earrings and love them!  They're lightweight, and I wear them so often!

If you're feeling super festive, combine multiple colors together and add some stars and stripes!  This bathing suit is adorbs, and I would totally wear it all throughout summer!  You could definitely get all of these pieces by this weekend if you choose an express shipping option!  However, I guarantee any clothing store you walk into will have festive, holiday gear for you to choose from!  Just have fun with it!

I'd love to hear about your weekend plans!  Comment below to let me know what fun you're looking forward to!  Thanks for stopping by! :)

Hey, y'all!
Anddd it's Monday again! I always have mixed feelings about Monday.  Some weeks I wish it was the weekend again, but other weeks I feel so refreshed and thankful to have a fresh start to the week!  This week, I'm feeling refreshed!  So, let's hope for a good week for us all! :)

If you know me, you know that I would much rather be sitting around the house or running errands in comfy clothes!  I would much rather wear a comfy dress or a t-shirt and jeans than get all dressed up.  However, I still like to look put together.  Finding the happy medium between comfy casual and stylish can be difficult.

My number one tip to being comfortable and still looking stylish is: Don't Forget the Accessories.

You can be wearing the most comfortable outfit ever, just add a few accessories.  Now, I don't mean go overboard.  Like, a huge statement necklace wouldn't look right in all cases (and could make your outfit uncomfortable).  A nice pair of earrings with a watch and some bracelets would be perfect!  You just have to play around with it to make sure everything goes together!  In my outfit above, I'm wearing the most comfortable romper I've ever owned and my favorite tennis shoes.  Comfort level is high!  However, I also put on a pair of subtle, but eye-catching earrings, along with a watch, bracelet, and a few rings.

Let's talk about this romper that I've been raving about.  I'm not even exaggerating when I say how much I love it.  I've worn it probably 3-4 times in the past week.  I really want to get another color!  Another plus is that it's long enough for us tall girls to not feel uncomfortable while wearing it - if you know what I mean.  Rompers can be so uncomfortable if they aren't the right size, but this one was perfect!  This fun pink color is 30% off right now, but they have it in a few other colors as well!  I love the teal color, too!  I guarantee you'll get good wear out of it!

Thanks for stopping by! Make it a great week! :)

Favorite Summer Color Combo

OUTFIT DETAILS

Happy Friday, friends!
So, I have a confession.  I really don't get as excited about Fridays during the summer as I do during the school year.  This is going to sound really bad - please don't throw rocks at me.  During the school year, everyone is so excited for Fridays because we get a few days off for the weekend like everyone else!  However, during the summers since I'm already off from school, it just feels like another day.  I know, I said it was going to sound really bad.  BUT, I am happy for YOU because you get a few days off! :)  Do you have any fun plans?  We really have no idea what we are doing, but I'm sure it will include some relaxing and probably some pool time!

The colors in today's post are probably one of my favorite color combos to wear, especially in the summer! You can never go wrong with pink, especially a bright pink color like this!  Turquoise is one of my favorite colors to use when I want to add a pop of color!  I probably have more turquoise statement accessories than anything else!  I just love it!  This necklace was a recent purchase of mine, and I was more than happy to add it to my collection!  I know I'll be wearing it a ton!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend! :)
