Hello, everyone!

Happy Friday!  I hope you had such a great week!  I got so much done this week and am finally starting to get into the groove of things here in Raleigh!  We finally have some furniture!  We got our sofa in, and I love it, except they sent us the wrong sectional.  They sent us the exact same one we wanted, but it's the reversed version.  So, we'll have to get that taken care of soon!  We have some fun plans this weekend!  We'll probably go out to dinner tonight (because I'm tired of cooking - lol).  There's so many great places within walking distance from our apartment - this was one of the things I loved the most about our location!   Tomorrow, Raleigh is apparently bringing in the world's longest water slide!  They are shutting down some of the streets and having this big thing!  On Sunday, we'll probably do some food trucks - which I always love!  I hope you have some fun plans!

Anyone else a fan of casual Fridays?? Well, right now everyday is casual for me since it's summer and I'm a teacher!  No complaints from me! :) But, I love a good excuse to throw on some jeans and sandals!  I especially love my Birkenstocks!  They're super comfortable, and add the right touch to any outfit.  They have so many fun styles, I guarantee you can find something you like!  

I have been wearing this stripe tank nonstop lately!  I find myself throwing it on just to run a few quick errands.  I definitely need to stock up in some more thin, casual tanks for the warm weather here!

Hi everyone!

Halfway through the week! I hope it's going well for you!  It's been another crazy busy week for me, but I am getting excited for the weekend!  One of my good friends is getting married back home on Saturday, so I'll be heading that way!  I've been having some major spring fever lately.  The weather has been cold and rainy, and well basically typical Ohio weather.  I am getting so anxious for warm and nice weather!  I think this week it's supposed to turn around - fingers crossed!  I've also had a lot of changes happening in the past few weeks, so all of that has kept me pretty preoccupied.  It's all good stuff, though! :) Hopefully, I can share all of those details soon!    

If you haven't heard about how much I love these distressed jeans, let me tell you again! :)  They are a perfect fit, and they do stretch out a little bit as you wear them.  This gives them the perfect boyfriend fit.  I love wearing basics, like this white v neck.  Then, you can fancy it up with a bunch of cute, colorful accessories.  These are my favorite statement earrings lately (if you haven't noticed from Instagram)!  They're lightweight, and they don't bother my ears.  I also love that I can finally bust out one of my spring purses.  I got this Kate Spade purse last year, but there are still so many similar styles in the same color!
