How is your week going?  We are down to 2 more days of school!  I still can't believe how quickly this year went by!  Truthfully, I'm even more excited for next week because I get to start getting my apartment and classroom packed up!   Then, all the fun changes start!  Hopefully, the weather will warm up a bit, too!  :)

I have been all about these embroidered tops lately.  I just love the delicate details and the colors.  This red and white top stood out to me right away - I was immediately drawn to it in the store!  The best news is that it's under $25! The top itself is a little bit shorter than what I typically wear, but my go-to high waisted jeans were the perfect fit!  Sometimes I find that black is a hard color to wear when it gets warmer outside.  I think the best way to incorporate it into your outfit is to include other brighter colors with it as well!  Also, I want to make sure I talk about these amazing heels!  They are super cute and just as comfortable!   They're at a great price point just under $70!

Happy Monday!  How was your weekend? I hope it was great!  We had a super busy and fun weekend!  Our anniversary is this coming Wednesday, and my boyfriend surprised me with all kinds of fun plans on Saturday!  He got us amazing seats for the Pacers Playoff game in Indy on Saturday.  That was amazing!  Such a cool atmosphere!  Then, we went to my favorite sushi place, Naked TChopstix.  Seriously, it's amazing!  They have a special roll called King Kong that no other place has - at least not that I've found - believe me, I've asked! :)  Then, we were able to meet up with some of my favorite people in Indy!  Such a great night!  Not to mention, the weather was amazing!  

Okay, first of all, please excuse the pale, white, winter legs.  They obviously haven't seen much sun yet this year. :-/
So, my bf is not a fan at all of the overalls.  But, he says that if I like them, then I should wear them.  And that's what I intend to do! :)  It was so hard for me to find overalls that fit, because I have such a long torso.  Seriously, I've tried on so many pairs that were uber uncomfortable in all the wrong places.  Then, I found these from Forever21 for under $30!  I decided to go up a size than what I probably needed for length purposes.  I still have to make the adjustable straps pretty long for them to fit, but they work for me!  It's great to dress them up with some cute sandals!

Hi friends!  Happy Monday!

I hope you had a great weekend!  We just got back from Raleigh yesterday, and I am exhausted!  I spent most of yesterday catching up on my DVR shows!  Do any of you watch The Walking Dead?! I have no words for last night's finale!  That show always keeps me on the edge of my seat, and I love it! We had so much fun in Raleigh last week.  I'll have a post coming later in the week with all of the details of our trip!  But, I have to say one of my favorite things was the weather!  Even on the days that it was a little bit chilly, it was still sunny most of the time, or it just sprinkled for a little bit.  I could get used to that! :) 

Okay, let's talk about these earrings.  They are amazing and the most perfect color for spring! They're also super lightweight, which is pretty rare for statement earrings this size.  This top is also the perfect transitional piece for spring.  It's lightweight, but still offers enough coverage for those chilly days.  Even better is the price point.  It's under $25 and definitely worth every penny!

How is your week going?  Are you getting this ridiculously cold and snowy winter weather like we are here in Ohio? It's been miserable.  Just enough snow and cold to be annoying, but not enough to even get us a little school delay. :) 

We obviously took these pictures the other weekend when it was much warmer and more pleasant outside.  I have found myself gravitating more to brighter colors lately.  Probably because I am so over winter and so ready for spring!  If you like the portifino style shirt, I highly recommend this one!  It is definitely a staple in my closet, and I have it in multiple colors and designs.  I love that I can just throw on a statement necklace, like this Astral Collar, and voila!  I love the classy look that it gives.

Happy Wednesday!  Halfway to the weekend!

How is your week?  Mine has been pretty productive, but I'm still counting down until the weekend!  The weather this past weekend felt like spring, so this outfit just felt right!  Unfortunately, it has since cooled down a lot more and we are expecting snow next week - yuck!  Until that nice weather comes back, I'll just stare at these pictures and remember how amazing it felt outside when we took them! :)   

I am IN LOVE with this Courtney Bib!  I just got it, and I can definitely see myself pairing it with a lot of different outfits!  It just adds so much to an outfit!  I've always been a big fan of peplum, and this orange peplum has been a staple in my closet for years.  Okay, so maybe I have this same shirt in 2 other colors, too.  That's fine, right? :)  I found one that is super similar here!  Enjoy!
