Happy Monday, everyone!

This week is about to be so great!  I have great news!  For all of you reading who are waiting patiently for Public Access for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale to start, it's finally almost here!  The #NSale opens to the public (regardless if you're a cardholder) this Friday, August 22nd!  Woohoo!  More great news is that this is also typically when they restock some items that sold out during Early Access.  So, if you've had your eye on something and it's currently sold out, make sure to keep checking in on it throughout this week!  I'm hoping this cute little peasant top comes back in stock!  Fingers crossed!

I am so excited to share with you guys one of my favorite purchases from the #NSale this year!  If you've been reading for awhile, then you know the obsession I have for dresses - especially since we moved to North Carolina!  I was so excited to snag this perfect little transitional dress during the first day of the sale!  And the purple color?  *swoon*  It's super lightweight and flowy which is great, because I'm assuming by the time "fall" comes around down here, it'll still be basically 187 degree outside.  (Totally exaggerating, but you know what I mean) That's the great thing about it that makes it the perfect transitional piece.  I could totally wear this dress outside tomorrow with a pair of sandals.  I could also wear it when it cools down a little bit.  Just throw on a pair of booties (I recommend these) and you're good to go!

Other things I love about this dress:

- It comes in ten, yes count them, TEN different colors and patterns!  
- Is the little cutout in the back not just the cutest thing you've ever seen?
- It's long enough for us tall girls!  Yay!  It's even a little longer in the back to cover up the bum.
- It's ON SALE right now for $31.90.  After the sale ends, it'll go back to $48.00

Basically, what I'm trying to tell you is that you need this dress.  Trust me on this one!  I also tried on this dress in "Olive" during the sale.  I loved it also, but decided I just needed to pick one for now!  You know, budget and all that - being an adult is so lame.

I hope your week is going fabulous!  Tomorrow is going to such a great day.  Why you may ask?  Because the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale begins for cardholders!  I am so excited to see what fun fall items are marked down!  Crossing my fingers that I keep my wallet under control! :-/  But, it's a once a year sale, right?!  And it's almost my birthday, so I'm allowed to spoil myself a little bit, right?!  Help a girl out here!  Let's hope my boyfriend and mom aren't reading this! ;)  Really, though, you should probably check it out tomorrow if you are a cardholder.  Public access begins on July 22nd.  However, most good items are typically sold out by then.  I have my wish list started already!  Be on the lookout for a sale roundup post on Friday!  As well as multiple ones throughout next week!

I have literally been living in this striped dress this summer!  I love that it's so light and flowy!  Another plus, POCKETS!  Who doesn't love pockets?  This particular dress is under $35 and comes in so many great colors and patterns!  I know I've expressed my love for dresses - especially in this southern heat.  But, sometimes I just want to throw on a dress and be casual.  It can be difficult to wear a dress and not look like it took you hours to get ready.

For this reason, I love to throw on a dress and "dress it down."  The dress itself is typically dressy enough.  To dress it down a little, I love throwing on a pair of tennis shoes or some casual sandals.  Add a pony tail or messy bun, and you're ready for a baseball game! :)  I still add my typical accessories - which I really cannot leave the house without.  I think the mixture of the accessories and tennis shoes/messy bun make the perfect combination!

Hump day!  How has your week been?  Mine has been pretty great!  I got some great news yesterday that I'm getting so anxious to share!  Don't worry, I'll be sharing everything soon! :)  Do you have any fun plans for Cinco de Mayo tomorrow?  Some friends and I will obviously be celebrating with some margaritas!

I don't even know where to begin with this wish list.  There are so many cute pieces out there for spring, and I've been trying to be so good!  I have found myself gravitating a lot towards simple tanks and tops that I can wear with a lot more.  This stripe tank can be perfectly dressed up or down depending on what you are doing!  And it's under $35!  

I have been eyeing these wedges for quite some time now!  I just love the lace ups, and the light blue color.  The price point is actually pretty decent.  They are under $70, and, by the looks of it, pretty good quality.    

This white lace dress is super adorable and under $60!  I don't typically wear all white that often, but the look of it is just so classy.  I would be all about it with this dress.  Not to mention that it has the off shoulder trend that I can't get enough of.

Hello everyone!

Did you have a good weekend?  My boyfriend and I had a nice, relaxing weekend.  We had dinner with some friends Saturday night, then church on Sunday!  We also started watching the Netflix series "Making a Murderer."  Have you watched it?  I was hesitant to start it since I've been hearing so many mixed opinions about it.  Everyone told me that I would just be so upset while watching it, so I wasn't really sure if I even wanted to bother.  But, my curiosity got the best of me! I'd love to hear your thoughts on it! 

This outfit is pretty simple and casual, but that's why I love it!  This turtleneck dress is so soft and warm, and it's less than $20!  Also, this is a retailer that I trust and have ordered multiple items from.  I haven't had an issue at all.  I have always been such a fan of Baublebar and their amazing accessories - they are such great quality and seem to last forever!  This Firestone Collar is a current fave!  I love that it's a neutral color that can be worn with so many things!  For me, it was a no brainer!
